Art Lectures
Lecture by Art Sherwyn
Featured CCA Gallery Artist | March 3–April 26
Being an artist is a life long journey. Along that journey the art maker is constantly running into walls, slumps, and hurdles. It is within those challenges wherein lies new growth and learning.
This presentation will cover ways to continually breathe life throughout your artistic pathway. This session will cover many layers of being an artist: from the four stages of artistic growth and development to the role storytelling vs technique play, to a pathway into the uncommon mind and path, to the dynamics of creating compelling works of art. There will also be a short demonstration on Art’s three stages of laying out a landscape; line, dance, and mass.
We encourage Artists of all ages to not miss this unique and valuable opportunity to gain creative experiences and perspectives which will accompany you throughout your entire creative career.

My Art Journey - Tigg Morales
Will explain my history with art and my process for this show: Birds Eye View
Tigg has created art throughout her life in one form or another, including interior design and architectural drafting. She received a degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Graphic Communications. Eventually, she found her way to painting. She works with both oils and watercolors, in her studio and outdoors. She is inspired by the natural beauty of the sea, the trees, and the charming communities tucked along the coastline.
