Students will learn about upcycling of materials to create new objects. Next they will learn how to create puppets from upcycled materials. Followed by learning the basics of puppetry. They will form into groups to create 5 minute puppet shows. These will be presented to the parents at pick up time.

Since we encourage upcycling, we invite students to bring any old clothes, buttons, socks, felt, yarn, bottle caps, cardboard, or sticks that could be used to create their puppets or contribute to the rest of the class. Please bring these items in a bag. Any leftover wearable clothing will be donated.

Students will take the bus from school to go to the program, or you may drive your student to the program. 

Parent Presentation at 4:30. When you come to pick up your student, please plan to stay until 5 pm. We will have a puppet show for you!
